Day 1 Arrive Bhopal
On arrival at Bhopal, you will be transferred to the hotel and check-in. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of Bhopal which include places such as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bharat Bhawan and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel at Bhopal.
Day 2 Excursion to Sanchi
Post Breakfast, start your day with an excursion to the Sanchi Stupa and Museum (55 Kms) - Located initially on a hilltop near the Sanchi Stupa by Sir John Marshall in 1919, the Sanchi museum, now preserved and maintained by the ASI at the foothill of the Stupa, houses many unique and interesting Buddhist artefacts that were discovered during the clearance and excavation done at Sanchi. The museum became open for public in 1966, when the museum was shifted. Its expanse is over 6.3 acres of land and houses a main hall and 4 galleries, consisting of artefacts and objects datable from the 3rd to the 12th century BC.
The galleries and the main hall comprise of various statues, carvings and artefacts of the various kingdoms that ruled Sanchi over a 1000 years, beginning from King Ashoka building the Stupa in the 3rd Century. Stay overnight at the hotel at Bhopal.
Day 3 Bhopal – Panchmarhi (195 Kms)
After having breakfast, hit the road to Panchmarhi - situated at 1100 m, Pachmarhi, popularly known as 'Satpura ki Rani' (Queen of Satpura), sits beautifully, embellished by nature and history, amidst the Satpura range. Legend says the Pandava brothers visited Pachmarhi during their exile.
Panchmarhi is listed in UNESCO Biosphere reserve for its Flora and Fauna. This beautiful region in the hills, was discovered by Captain James Forsyth in 1857.
On the way, briefly halt at Bhimbetka Caves and Bhojpur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay at Panchmarhi.
Day 4 Panchmarhi Sightseeing
Post Breakfast at the Hotel, Start your day with the sightseeing tour of Panchmarhi – visit includes Handi Khoh, Pandava Caves, Jata Shankar Caves, Chhota Mahadeo, Chauragarh Temple etc.,. Transfer back to hotel and Stay overnight at Panchmarhi.
Day 5 Panchmarhi – Bandhargarh National Park (450 Kms)
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out & proceed for travel to Bandhavgarh National Park (450 Kms). Arrive the resort, just relax and get ready for the next day Bandhavgarh Safari drive. Overnight stay at Resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 6 Bandhavgarh Safari
Get ready & proceed for Safari Drives before sunrise as vehicles have to report at entrance gate to enter in early morning. As per safari guides, early morning hours are the best time for tiger sighting so first two hours are crucial in safari drives. Wildlife attractions of Bandhavgarh are Tiger, Spotted Deer, Leopards, Sambhar, Wild Boar, Sloth Bear etc. Bird sighting from hill-top during fort visit is another attraction as we have chance to do bird watching of flying birds and do photography. Some of the birds encountered during game drives are Plum Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, White Throated Kingfisher, Black Drango, Racket Tailed Drango, Crested Serpent Eagle, Greater Coucal, Red Necked Vulture, White Rumped Vulture etc.
Back to Resort in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight stay at Resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 7 Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park (260 Kms)
Morning at leisure and of your own. Later check-out & we will drive to Kanha National Park, located 260kms in southern direction. The route from Bandhavgarh to Kanha goes via Umaria and Mandla cities. Overnight stay at Resort in Kanha.
Day 8 Kanha National Park Safari
Proceed for the early Kanha Tiger Safari Game Drive. Kanha is one of the most tourist friendly national park providing shelter to some rarely seen wildlife species like world famous Hard-ground Barasingha (Swamp Deer). Kanha Tiger Reserve offers sighting of Tigers, Leopards, Indian gaur (Asiatic Bison), Wild dog (Dhole or Sonha Kutta), Hard Ground Barasingha, Mouse Deer, Wild boar, Blue bull, Spotted Deer, Four-horned Antelope etc. Rarely seen birds like Crested Serpent Eagle, Malabar pied hornbill, Red headed vultures, Green Munia etc.Places to visit inside Kanha are : Bamni-dadar, Number-7, Sonf meadows, Kanha meadows, Lapsi Kabar, Naag Bahara, Dig-dola, Ghorella, Indri Camp etc. We may get chance of elephant ride also when trackers on tusker successfully locate tiger during the time of Morning Park Safari. Overnight at Resort in Kanha National Park.
Day 9 Kanha - Transfer to Jabalpur (160 kms)
After breakfast, check-out & travel to Jabalpur enroute Bargi Dam. Arrive Jabalpur and proceed for a tour of Jabalpur – visit includes Madan Mahal Fort, Rani Durgavati Museum, Balance Rock, Bhedagat, Dhuandhar Falls etc., - Later, transfer to Hotel & check-in and overnight at Jabalpur
Day 10 Jabalpur – Travel Back Home
Post Breakfast at the Hotel, check-out & proceed to visit more sights / for some shopping – Later, transfer to Jabalpur Railway Station / airport to travel back home.
